The smart sportswear brand Sensoria has recently launched a new crowdfunding campaign to raise funds for their new heart rate monitoring T-shirts and sports bras. Along with the new clothing, there is also a new sports monitoring app. This new app can predict whether you will have a cardiac arrest through the data from the smart clothing monitor and alert you to the person closest to you, urging them to seek help.

Sensoria's upcoming sportswear is roughly the same as the previous generation. The new feature is built-in electrodes and a clip-on Bluetooth heart rate monitor on the chest. The biggest difference in the new design comes from design, color and fabric. In terms of T-shirts, the new style has become a short sleeve rather than an old sleeveless; in the sports bra, the new support level has replaced the lower level of the old model with an intermediate level. T-shirts and sports bras are available in red and blue. The new Emana yarn material is said to improve skin elasticity and help prevent muscle fatigue.

However, more notable in this release is the Sensoria Fitness app, which allows heart rate monitoring data to be used not only to help you train harder, but also for other purposes. The Sensoria Fitness app version 2.0 checks your heart rate to check if your heart is beating normally. It uses a set of algorithms called Heart Sentinel created by a cardiologist.

This algorithm can monitor cardiac arrest associated with exercise-based immune mechanisms such as ventricular tachycardia and ventricular fibrillation and can warn the user when they are at risk. If the user unfortunately encounters a cardiac arrest during the sport, Sensoria Fitness app 2.0 can send a text message containing the user's location data to the user's relatives, urging them to seek help.

Sensoria said that crowdfunding supporters can get the most complete beta of Sensoria Fitness app 2.0, which the public needs to download by the end of the year. The app adapts to new and old Sensoria garments and can be connected to a heart rate monitoring module.

Sensoria's crowdfunding on Kickstarter will begin next week for a new sports bra or T-shirt for $79. If crowdfunding succeeds and everything else goes well, the product will be shipped around October this year.
